June 16th: Technology and Engineering Education Lesson Contributors Rewrite PD @ COD

Illinois TEE educators are invited to participate in a collaborative lesson development workshop focused on refining and creating high-quality technology and engineering lessons aligned with the 5E instructional model.

We are seeking teachers with exemplary lessons and activities to share with colleagues across the state. Participants will contribute to the rewriting and development of technology and engineering lessons using the 5E lesson plan format. Please bring one or two of your existing lessons to the workshop. In small groups, we will collaboratively adapt and refine these lessons into the 5E format. Attendees will receive complimentary access to a library of over 100 technology and engineering lessons. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

June 17th: STEM Drone Racing Workshop for Educators PD @ COD

STEM teachers and drone racing enthusiasts are invited to participate in a hands-on workshop focused on building minidrones, designing a drone racing course, and developing a drone-related activity lesson plan. Participants will construct their own mini-drone to take back to their classrooms for student use. Attendees will receive a complimentary drone kit. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
